Fun Facts About Me
I first heard about UX Design from a friend who had started her UX Bootcamp. She told me all about the field and her excitement for design. I went home and started researching and discovered the world of UX/UI Design. I immediately looked into CareerFoundry and enrolled that next week. And here I am. It’s been a long journey but I have loved every minute of it.
When I started my study I defined UX/UI Design as making websites by putting boxes on boxes and creating something functional with no pain points.
Now after finishing my study UX/UI Design is a field in which designers work and collaborate with many people to create an application to ensure the lives of companies and users in the world are easier and less stressful. We use a user-centered approach by involving the users early in the design process. This also us to make products functional and improve this by usability testing, etc. UX design is the ability to create beautiful, amazing, world-changing projects to benefit the lives of people.
So why UX/UI Design? Because this is the career that I was meant to do. It allows me to imagine, create and organize while making products that not only benefit the company but make the lives of the user easier or happier. And that’s why I am now a UX/UI Designer.
